Personalized Learning Department Offers Two Free Classes
Eden Prairie Schools Personalized Learning and Instruction Department is offering two free opportunities for community members to attend sessions on Kids and Social Media and New Realities: Personalized Learning.
Kids and Social Media Feb. 16, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Administrative Services Center (8100 School Rd.) Social media is increasingly becoming an integral part of our lives. For kids, social connectivity apps such as Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and YouTube are shifting the way they interact with others and are shaping their digital footprint. Come talk about the various types of social media, potential outcomes of social media use, and how to encourage/model positive use of social media. Register here to attend this session.
New Realities: Personalized Learning March 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Administrative Services Center (8100 School Rd.) Have you heard about Personalized Learning? In addition to understanding the definition of Personalized Learning, participants will delve into the innovation age’s “New Realities.” These realities allow for a shift towards the more learner centered methodologies that personalized learning utilizes.
