Associate principal selected for Eden Prairie High School

Eden Prairie Schools has selected Akram M. Osman as the new associate principal of Eden Prairie High School. The selection follows an extensive search and interview process.


Osman has served as the associate principal at Metcalf Middle School in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage Public Schools this past school year. He previously served as the dean of students at Burnsville High School and also worked as a special education teacher and cultural liaison in Mankato Public Schools.


“We’re excited to have Akram join the Eden Prairie team,” said Eden Prairie High School Principal Robb Virgin. “He is a strong instructional leader with outstanding relational skills, and a commitment to our mission of inspiring each student.”


Osman holds an Educational Specialist degree, Master of Science degree and Bachelor of Science degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato.


Osman will officially start his position in Eden Prairie Schools July 1, 2019.
