Associate Principal Appointments

Associate Principal Appointments

Looking ahead to the 2020-21 school year, we are excited to announce the appointment of new Associate Principals, effective July 1. All of these well-deserved appointments are internal to Eden Prairie Schools.

Eden Prairie High School

Clayton Ellis will be associate principal at Eden Prairie High School. Mr. Ellis is currently associate principal at Oak Point Elementary. Previously, he was a middle school and elementary dean of students, an elementary school teacher and varsity track and field coach in Bloomington Public Schools.

In March, we announced that Meg Bennett will be associate principal for Eden Prairie High School beginning July 1. Ms. Bennett has been the school’s facilitator for multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) since 2016 and has provided a variety of leadership to EPHS staff and students.

With the opening of Oak Point’s associate principal position, we have an opportunity to expand leadership capacity by providing four of our APs with new experiences. This allows us to continue to develop leadership from within, and strengthen our position to meet our mission outcomes. Oak Point, Cedar Ridge, Prairie View and Forest Hills elementary schools are welcoming current APs from within our district.
