Eden Prairie School Board Chair Aaron Casper Named to MSBA All-State School Board

We’re excited to share that Board Chair Aaron Casper has been named to the All-State School Board! This is the highest recognition awarded by the Minnesota School Boards Association (MSBA) and honors Chair Casper’s outstanding contributions to our staff, students and families.

“Mr. Aaron Casper embodies the very best of Minnesota school board leadership,” reads a nomination letter. “He is a servant leader who blends humility and vision, a trusted advocate for public education, and a board chair who consistently delivers results for students. His nomination reflects not only his achievements but also his character, integrity, and unwavering commitment to children, families, and community.”

During his six years on the Eden Prairie School Board, Chair Casper has also served as vice-chair and treasurer. In each role, he has shaped a culture of accountability, clarity and student-focused governance. Under Chair Casper’s leadership, graduation rates have risen, disparities among student groups have narrowed and access to college-level coursework has expanded. High-quality preschool is now available in every elementary school, and elementary students all have access to enrichment and talent development programming. 

Chair Casper has also been instrumental in the passage of referendums and levies that secured long-term stability for Eden Prairie Schools, supported foundations that strengthen immersion programming, and consistently engaged in advocacy for school finance and legislative issues at the state level.

“Chair Casper leads with a forward-thinking vision that positions Eden Prairie Schools for continued growth,” reads another nomination letter. “He sets high standards for academic excellence, fiscal responsibility, and accountability to our community, ensuring that our district remains a leader in public education.”

This year’s 2026 MSBA Leadership Conference Recognition Banquet, where Chair Casper will receive his award, will take place on Wednesday, January 14, at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
