High School
Each year, Eden Prairie High School is recognized statewide and nationally for our academics, athletics and activities. We’re ranked the #2 public high school in the state by Niche.com, and our students are competitive — on the field and in the classroom — with other high-achieving districts in our area. Eagles pursue their passions in rigorous and hands-on courses, including in our five interest-area Pathways, and graduate ready for college and career. 99% of our graduates say they were prepared for life after graduation.

EPHS students can choose from more courses than any other high school students in the state. In challenging, dynamic classes, our students discover new interests and pursue their passions. Our top-rated teachers bring learning to life in updated classrooms with flexible furniture that helps students connect with each other and with new concepts.
More athletics, arts and activities than any other school
We’re proud to offer the largest variety of activities in the state, including many championship-winning teams. We encourage students to become involved in extracurricular activities and find inspiration both inside and outside of the classroom. Over 60 student-interest clubs give every Eagle a chance to shine.
Classes that prepare for
college and beyond
In our large variety of Advanced Placement (AP), College in the Schools (CIS) and Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) courses, students dive deeper into areas of interest and earn college credit while in high school. Our five interest-area Pathways give students hands-on learning opportunities with local businesses and professionals.

Big-school opportunities, small-school connections
Our Student Support Teams (SSTs) are designed to provide your student with the support they need to be successful in school, all in one place. Each student is assigned to an SST based on the first letter of their last name. Each SST is located in a specific office area and consists of an associate principal, administrative dean, counselors, and a social worker who collaborate to help each student reach their full potential and make a big school feel small.

EPHS students speak more than 90 languages at home and bring many different backgrounds and experiences to school. Our diverse student body helps Eagles make rich friendships and prepare for life in our increasingly global world.
