They are honored to be on a journey of learning with your child and are committed to creating strong relationships not only with students, but with families and the community as well.

Kindergarten

Jennavieve Mattei

Ms. Jennavieve Mattei has been teaching kindergarten for Eden Prairie Schools since 2021. She loves teaching students how to become strong readers, and more importantly how to love school! When not at school Ms. Mattei loves cooking, listening to music, and going on walks with her husband, Josh, and her pets—a dog named Ollie and a cat named Bennie!

Kristine Rynda

First Grade

Halle Pauly

Halle Pauly has been a classroom teacher since 2015 and with Eden Prairie Schools since 2020. She is especially passionate about literacy, and building students’ sense of belonging, confidence, and independence as a learner and as a member of a community. Outside of school, Halle enjoys reading, being outside, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Sarah Meuleners

Mrs. Sarah Meuleners has been an educator in Eden Prairie Schools since 2014. She is especially passionate about building relationships with students and families, developing a strong foundation for reading, and allowing students to express themselves through their learning. Sarah, her husband, and two young boys enjoy staying active, reading, and spending quality time with their friends and family.

Second Grade

Susie Meyer

Susie Meyer has been an educator in Eden Prairie Schools since 2000. She has been a primary classroom teacher, as well as a reading interventionist. She is especially passionate about getting children to advocate for their own education as well as establish strong lifelong habits. Susie lives in Minneapolis with her family of four and enjoys the outdoors, live music, cookbooks, hiking, and her mini-Goldendoodle, Scarlet.

Lori Lewis

Mrs. Lori Lewis has been an educator in Iowa and Minnesota for over 20 years. She lives with her husband in Carver. Mrs. Lewis loves teaching math, reading, and coding to elementary students. She has three grown daughters, three grandchildren, and two rescue dogs. Mrs. Lewis loves to paint, ride bikes, go camping, and enjoys traveling with her husband, Roger.

Jesse Josephson

Mr. Jesse Josepshon has been an educator with Eden Prairie Schools since 1993. He earned a master’s degree in Curriculum Instruction and a Principal’s degree. He is especially passionate about expanding his students’ social, emotional, and academic well-being. Mr. Josephson lives in Chanhassen with his family and enjoys the outdoors, fishing, boat, and everything boating, and everything related to sporting events.

Kristy Westrom

Mrs. Kristy Westrom has been teaching since 2012. This is her second year with EP Online. She really enjoys working with students in intermediate elementary and middle school. Mrs. Westrom previously worked in social services and has developed a passion for advocating for children. She lives with her family in Chaska and enjoys traveling, biking, reading, and playing new board games with her family.

Fifth Grade

Tom Baker

Mr. Tom Baker has been teaching since 1993 and in Eden Prairie Schools since 1994 working with 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades. He also worked as an instructional coach prior to EP Online and values the unique opportunities, challenges, and motivation online instruction provides. Mr. Baker is an EP community member and enjoys home repair and DIY and loves fishing, hunting, camping, and traveling.
