Bratrud appointed to fill 11-month School Board term

On Jan. 7, the Eden Prairie School Board unanimously approved the appointment of Karla Bratrud to the board. She fills the seat previously held by Greg Lehman, who resigned in September. There is less than one year remaining in Bratrud’s term, which ends in December 2019. Her seat on the board is one of four that will be part of School Board elections in November 2019.

Bratrud previously served on the Eden Prairie School Board from 2012 through 2015. She brings experience and prior knowledge to the board as she completes a shortened term. Bratrud will take the oath of office in February following the state required waiting period.
