On March 15 of last year, Gov. Walz announced the closure of schools due to the pandemic. The next day, staff of Eagle Zone, Eden Prairie Schools’ school-age child care program, opened their doors to families of essential workers who were on the frontlines in the fight against COVID-19.
This past school year, Eagle Zone continued to offer childcare for essential workers, in addition to its typical programs: before/after school care and on non-school days. This summer, Eagle Zone once again will provide a full-day summer program to families. We’re grateful to our outstanding staff who made it all possible. Requirements for face coverings and other safety procedures will be communicated to families as they sign up for Eagle Zone.
