Eden Prairie High School’s Mike Grant plans to retire as Activities Director on January 1. He will remain head football coach for the Eden Prairie Eagles. Mike has served as Activities Director for 19 years and has been head football coach since 1992, winning 11 state football championships. Prior to serving as Activities Director, Mike taught social studies at EPHS for 10 years.
“We are so grateful for Mike’s service to all of our activities programs and school as a whole,” said Principal Robb Virgin. “He has helped shape a culture in this school where each student can feel like they belong and contribute to their community. I’m grateful for his leadership in this role and look forward to continuing his relationship with EPHS.”
The timeline will help ensure a successful transition this year in the Activities Department. Eden Prairie High School will immediately begin the process to hire Mike’s replacement.
