We’re excited to share a new opportunity to connect with your student’s school, teachers, and other supporters this year! TalkingPoints, a multilingual texting tool that will allow our district, schools, and individual staff members to connect with each of our families in their preferred languages, will start to be used at each of our schools over the next several months. This tool was chosen as the result of a community engagement process connected to our previous strategic plan.
When an Eden Prairie Schools staff member sends a message...
- Each family will receive it and can reply in their preferred language
- The teacher or staff member receives the reply in English
- All families will automatically receive messages from the district and teachers as texts

Two ways to receive messages

- Messages will automatically be sent via text message
- Each individual teacher and the district will will have their own phone number that will stay consistent throughout the year.
