Special Education
EP Online strives to create personalized support to the individualized needs of all students of different abilities. All services are developed to support each student to access learning that meets their academic, social, and emotional needs in general education and special education settings. From early childhood to graduation, students are provided a quality, individualized education program in the least restrictive environment.
EP Online has a special education team that provides services to students with disabilities. Two special education lead teachers are available to assist students and families in the Special Education Program. Special education team members work in conjunction with a student's general education teachers and with school and district administration to ensure that students are learning and growing through their educational experiences.
Emily Aust
Special Education Lead, Grades K-5
Emily has worked in Eden Prairie schools since 2021 as a special education lead and Speech-Language Pathologist. Prior to coming to Eden Prairie, Emily has over 16 years of experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a variety of settings. She enjoys the creative problem solving with students, families, and teams to help students be inspired and meet their goals! She is also passionate helping students find their voice and communicating with those around them! Outside of work, Emily enjoys being with family, reading, camping, going to plays, and just enjoying life!
