2025 Season Information

Registration for the 2025 season opens July 7. There is a mandatory Parents, Athletes and Coaches meeting (PAC) on August 11 in the Eden Prairie High School gym.

In order to register, all athletes must have a physical on file with Eden Prairie Schools that was completed within the last three years. All players must also be registered to tryout. We have four teams (Varsity, JV, B-Squad, 9th grade) and strive to select as many players as possible.

Tryout Information

Tryouts are ONLY open to incoming 9th through 12th grade EPHS students.

All interested players will participate in tryouts beginning August 11th, on the grass fields at Eden Prairie High School, fields C and D.

August 11-12: 8-10 a.m. and 4-6 p.m. AND
August 13: 8-10 a.m.

Team selection will be announced after the morning session on Wednesday, August 13.

All team will start practicing on Thursday August 14.

For tryouts all players need:

Your equipment (cleats, shoes, shin guards, etc.)
Properly inflated soccer ball
Water bottle

Fitness Test

We ask that our players, especially those who plan on competing for a varsity position, report to tryouts in excellent shape. Our rationale is that we want to spend time and energy on technical and tactical aspects of the game, rather than conditioning. Once we the season begins, it’s very difficult to condition when we have games nearly every other day.

Fitness test takes place Tuesday, August 12 during tryout week

The test includes: 80-yard sprint – completed in 14 seconds – return jog 80 yards to the beginning in 26 seconds - 1 set in 40 second

9th Grade Standard - 7+ sets
B Squad Standard - 9+ sets
JV Standard - 11+ sets
Varsity Standard - 15 sets

Summer Soccer Opportunities (Open to 9th-12th Grade Eden Prairie Schools students)

It’s an opportunity to get ready for the high school season. There is no cost and no need to sign-up. Just show up and play! During these sessions we will work on conditioning, technical/tactical skills and full field games. This is a chance for players to stay in shape between summer soccer and high school soccer. It also gives new players a chance to get to know returning players in our program. Summer training will be run by Eden Prairie High School varsity staff.
