Activities Registration

Fall season activity registration is now open! Log into MyPaymentsPlus to register and pay all activity fees online.

Log into or create a new user account on MyPaymentsPlus. All first-time users must create their own username and password.
You will need your student's school ID number to add them to your user account. Student ID numbers can be found on a student's class schedule, as the numeric part of their school email, or by logging into the Parent Portal. If your student does not have a Student ID number, please contact the Welcome Center at 952-975-7008.
You will not be able to complete the registration process if your student does not have a valid sports physical on file. To submit a physical, please email documentation to Brandt_Broderick@edenpr.org or bring it to the Activities Office between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. If you are not prompted to submit a physical, you already have one on file.
You will receive an email confirmation from MyPaymentsPlus that your registration is complete.

Having issues with MyPaymentsPlus? Make sure you have:

Tried using only one last name: If you are having trouble linking your student's last name to their ID number, this is common with students who have two last names or hyphenated last names. The system will only recognize one last name. Try using only one last name when searching for the student.
Filled out every field: If you cannot complete registration, it may be due to the fact that you have not completed all required fields. Make sure to fill in all highlighted fields before you save or the system will clear your form and make you start over.
Submitted a valid physical and waited 24 hours: Another reason you may not be able to complete registration is due to a missing or expired sports physical. Your student will need to visit a doctor and complete a sports physical examination. Here is a form that you can print out for the doctor to complete. (Please note: we also accept other variations of a physical form so long as the doctor notes that the student is deemed physically fit to participate in interscholastic activities. It MUST be signed and dated by the physician.)
- Sports physicals are valid for 3 years from the date of the original office visit.
- If you are not able to successfully register 24 hours after submitting a valid physical, please contact the Student Activities Office.

Fee Information

EPHS has a $750 per family maximum fee for each school year that applies to registration fees paid to the Student Activities Office. It does not include fees for access to the summer weight room, summer band (including band camp), or any fees paid at CMS for middle school students on EPHS teams. Once you have reached the family cap, the fees for any additional activities will be automatically reduced to zero.

Family cap does not apply to activities that require an external membership fee, like NHS, Key Club or DECA. It is only subject to MSHSL Sports Registration fees.

Refunds

The participant must initiate a refund by informing the Activities Office (by phone, email, or in-person visit) of the reason for the refund. Upon approval from the head coach and the Activities Director, we will process a refund directly through MyPaymentsPlus. All refunds will return to the same method used for payment. No refund will be given after the conclusion of the regular season. A participant dismissed for a disciplinary reason will not receive a refund.

Refund guidelines are as follows:

Up to halfway through the season: Full refund
Halfway through the season through the season's end: No refund
Intramurals: No refund

I don't see my activity on MyPaymentsPlus. How do I get involved?

I have a student in homeschool, EP Online, or District 287. Can I still register for EPHS sports?

If your student is homeschooled and lives in the district, attends EP Online, or attends District 287, they may register for and participate in high school sports.

The first thing you will need to do is contact our Welcome Center at the district office. You can either visit in person at 8100 School Road in Eden Prairie, call 952-975-7013 or email Andrea_Whipps@edenpr.k12.mn.us.

You will be given paperwork to complete in order to enroll your homeschool student(s) in our district. Once you submit the enrollment paperwork, your student(s) will be assigned a student ID number. This is the number you will use for activity registration when creating your account in MyPaymentsPlus. A current sports physical is also required for online registration.

What happens if I miss the registration deadline?

Most sports have strict registration deadlines because the tryout process starts on the first day of practice. Student athletes are required to be fully registered and in attendance on the first day in order to be placed on a team. In some cases (illness, transfer students, extenuating circumstances), exceptions can be made for late registrations. This is at the discretion of the head coach and Activities Director.

No student shall change sports after the second week of practice without the consent of each coach involved and the Activities Director.

What is a Parent/Athlete/Coach (PAC) meeting?

A Parent/Athlete/Coach (PAC) meeting is held for all participants in each athletic activity. Attendance is required for all team members, and families are strongly encouraged to attend. The coach explains school policies, team schedules for contests and practices, team rules, disciplinary procedures, award requirements and a variety of other team-related topics. Dates, times, and locations of these meetings are communicated by the Head Coach.

Can I see if my child's sports physical is already on file with the school?

I submitted my sports physical form to the office. When will I be able to register?

We typically ask for a grace period of 24 hours between the time the physical form was submitted to the time you can log on and register. The office staff is extremely busy and at times may not be able to process data or input information into the system right away. If you are still unable to complete registration after waiting the 24-hour period, please contact the office at 952-975-8100. Please do not wait until the registration deadline to submit physical forms and expect to register that day.

My sports physical form was scanned and emailed over from the Physician's office. How do I know if the form has been received or entered online?

Typically, we ask for a 24 hour grace period from the time a physical has been submitted to the time you log on to register. Sometimes the emails do not arrive to us at the time you expect, or the time the Physician's office has told you. Since there can be a lag in time or communication, waiting 24 hours is usually necessary to make sure all of the information has been received and entered.

To be sure that your child's physical form is in the system, you can either log on to your Parent Portal through Infinite Campus and check the student's health screening profile - OR - you can attempt to register for the activity on MyPaymentsPlus. If you receive an error message saying you cannot complete registration, then it is likely that the physical has not been entered in the system. If you are able to answer all of the questions, add the activity to your cart, and complete registration and pay, then you can rest assured that the sports physical has been entered and all is well.

How do I know if my child needs a new/updated sports physical?

For the purpose of high school athletics, sports physicals are valid for 3 years (from the date of the original office visit). When the physical date has reached its expiration, your child will need to visit the doctor again and submit a new physical form.

Our system will not automatically send you a notification to let you know that the physical has expired. Most parents become aware of this by attempting to register their child online and finding that they cannot complete the registration. MyPaymentsPlus will give you an alert on your screen if you are attempting to register, but the student physical on file is invalid (missing or expired).

Where should I take my child to get a sports physical examination?

The most common place to get a sports physical exam is the child's primary care physician or pediatrician's office. Any certified medical health professional can complete the physical exam and must sign and date the form.

There are select Walgreens stores and Minute Clinics that offer free sports physicals. You can search their websites to learn more information. Sport clinics like Twin Cities Orthopedics and Fairview Health also offer free sports physicals during the summer months and throughout the year. Pre-registration on their website is required.
