Inspiring Each Student Every Day

General Information

Each spring students will register for courses for the following school year.

As we begin planning for 2nd semester, it’s also time to look ahead and begin planning for the 2017-18 school year.  With that in mind, here are some dates to remember as we begin the planning process with student registrations in February.

On February 1 we’ll hold a variety of informational meetings for parents of students in all grades and to explain our registration process and provide additional information about course selections, possibilities, and options for next school year.

On February 2 EPHS counselors will be meeting electronically during CORE with current freshmen, sophomore and junior students to explain the registration process and any course changes for the 2017-18 school year.

On February 2 & 9 walk-in registration assistance will be available for Gifted/Talented in Student Center South.

On February 3, 6 and 8 walk-in registration assistance will be available at the High School Student Center East from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. & 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. (parents are welcome).

On February 7 & 9 the registration hotline for Parents of the Class of 2021 will be open for parents of current 8th graders with questions about high school registration.  For registration questions call 952-975-8333 between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm.  After these dates, please contact your CMS counselor.

On February 9 ALL current 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students will complete their High School Registration during C.O.R.E.

Our on-line registration will be open to all incoming students between February 2 and February 12.  During this time, students will be registering for classes they intend to take and complete during the next school year.

After February 12, counselors will be meeting with individual students to help resolve registration errors or conflicts.

Please note: it is extremely important that all students register during this time period as course offering and staffing decisions are based on this registration information; The offering of courses described in the Course Offerings Guide will be based on student interest and availability of resources.

Because a course is listed in the course offerings guide, does not mean that it will automatically be offered during the school year.

Detailed information can be found in the Registration Timeline for 2016-17 School Year document.
