Each spring students will register for courses for the following school year.

As we begin planning for 2nd semester, it’s also time to look ahead and begin planning for the 2018-19 school year.  With that in mind, here are some dates to remember as we begin the planning process with student registrations in February.

January 31 is Parent Information Night when a variety of informational meetings will be offered for parents of students in all grades to explain our registration process and provide additional information about course selections, possibilities, and options for next school year.

On February 1 Connections Advisors will share registration information during CORE with current freshmen, sophomore and junior students.

On February 2 & 6 walk-in registration assistance will be available for Gifted/Talented students in Student Center South.

    On February 2, 6 and 8 walk-in registration assistance will be available at the High School Student Center East for 9-11th grade students from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. & 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. (parents are welcome).

On February 5 & 7 the registration hotline for Parents of the Class of 2022 will be open for parents of current 8th graders with questions about high school registration.  For registration questions call 952-975-8333 between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm.  After these dates, please contact your CMS counselor.

On February 8 ALL current 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students will complete their High School Registration during C.O.R.E. with their Connection Advisors.

Our on-line registration will be open to all incoming students between February 1 and February 11.  During this time, students will be registering for classes they intend to take and complete during the next school year.

After February 11, counselors will be meeting with individual students to help resolve registration errors or conflicts.

Please note: it is extremely important that all students register during this time period as course offering and staffing decisions are based on this registration information. The offering of courses described in the Course Offerings Guide will be based on student interest and availability of resources.

Because a course is listed in the course offerings guide, does not mean that it will automatically be offered during the school year.

Detailed information can be found in the Registration Timeline for 2018-19 School Year document.
