Register to Vote

To vote in a school board or other election, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be a citizen of the United States
  • Be a resident of the school district and maintain residence in the district for 20 days immediately preceding the election

It's quick and easy to register online! You will need:

  • Your Minnesota driver’s license or Minnesota identification card number, or the last four numbers of your Social Security number
  • An email address

Remember to re-register if your name or address changes!

Cast Your Vote!

Election Day is Tuesday, November 5, 2024. In Minnesota, you can vote early with an absentee ballot starting September 20, 2024. You can request an absentee ballot online for federal, state, and county elections.
