Fee Assistance

We strive to provide affordable lifelong learning opportunities for everyone in our community. In addition to our modest fees, each of our programs offers some form of Fee Assistance, scholarships, or other discounts to help people with low incomes access our programs. Check out the tabs below for opportunities that are available!

Fee Assistance by Program

Early Childhood Family Education

ECFE Class Fees
ECFE classes are priced on a sliding fee scale based on your household income. Payment for 10 week classes are made in full at time of registration. For year-long classes, payment is charged in three installments on September 2, 2019, November 18, 2019, and February 17, 2020.

ECFE and Sibling Care Pricing: ECFE classes are priced on a sliding fee scale based on your household income (for 2018-2019). Please refer to the chart below to determine the total cost of your ECFE class, and Sibling Care if applicable, based on your income.

Little Eagles Preschool

Fee Assistance for Half-Day Preschool
Limited tuition assistance is provided for qualifying families through the School Readiness program. To determine eligibility for assistance, families select factors that apply to their family situation during the registration process. 

Pathways I Early Learning Scholarships may be awarded to high-need families meeting eligibility requirements and are available to children who are 3 or 4 years old by September 1st of the school year the scholarship is awarded.  For more information, call the location based on where you live:

Fee Assistance for Full-Day Preschool
Fee assistance for full-day preschool is available through your County Child Care Assistance Program.

Eagle Zone

Eagle Zone works with Hennepin County Childcare Assistance to provide financial support to qualified families.

EPIC Youth Programs

Fee Assistance for Youth and Adult Enrichment Programs:  Fee assistance is available for EPIC youth classes and adult enrichment classes for families with low incomes. Complete and return this form to apply for assistance (Enrichment Fee Assistance Form). 

UCare Discounts: UCare will sponsor up to $15 on most Community Education sessions for eligible UCare members at any participating school district across the state of Minnesota. For details on how to access this discount, review the UCare Discount Overview and FAQs.

Adult Learning

Fee Assistance for Youth and Adult Enrichment Programs:  Fee assistance is available for EPIC youth classes and adult enrichment classes for families with low incomes. Complete and return this form to apply for assistance (Enrichment Fee Assistance Form).
