24-25 School Supply List

Required for all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students

MANDATORY SUPPLIES
Items 1-10 can be purchased through our school as a supply package for $32 or every item can be purchased individually in CMS School Store during the school year.

1. CMS Planner, mandatory (purchased either as part of a school supply bag or as a separate item on MPP or in person at the school store)

2. 2” Binder – Black w/View Cover

3. Plastic Pocket Folders in different colors (set of 6)

4. One Loose Leaf Paper (wide ruled) package

5. One Spiral Notebook (wide ruled)

6. Colored Pencils (box of 24)

7. #2 Wooden Pencils (box of 12, sharpened)

8. Highlighters, assorted color pack of 5 (yellow, green, blue, pink, orange)

9. Pencil Pouch (containing): a. Earbud Headphones (corded headphones are mandatory for various testing. No airpods are allowed) b. Eraser c. One Black Sharpie Marker (fine) d. Mechanical Pencil (0.7) e. Blue Ball Point Pen f. Stylus

10. Kleenex and more #2 wooden pencils (we need a lot of them). Will be delivered to the teachers by the Finance Assistant, Mira Nockel, first week of school.

ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES Required for Certain Classes (none of those items are included in the school supply bag) Mathematics:

1. Scientific Calculator for ALL 7 and 8th grade math classes, preferred TI-30XS MultiView Texas Scientific Calculator (can be purchased from any store or pre-ordered on MyPaymentPlus, or in the CMS school store).

2. Staedtler Mars Compass for 8th grade Geometry (can be purchased at the CMS school store or any store).

3. Graph Paper will be individually requested by the Math teacher if needed (can be bought at the CMS school store or any store).

Physical Education: (All items can be purchased in any store. CMS School Store does not sell them)

1. Athletic shoes (no crocs, sandals, dress shoes or boots).

2. Red shirt/top.

3. Black shorts/pants/bottoms.

PLEASE NOTE: Some individual teachers may have preferences that are not listed here. Students will be informed by their teachers during the first two weeks of school if additional supplies are needed.

School Store – new days and hours of operations

Days of Operations: September, every school day 11:00am - 1:00 pm. October-May: Tuesday and Thursday 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Location: 320 FLEX area (intersection of hallways 300 and 400). Form of Payment: Cash or check (Attn: CMS). Please note that the school store carries more items than there are in the school supply bag.
