Have some fun playing all kinds of board games starting December 3rd after school in Mr. Perona's classroom. Sign up in FeePay or visit the Activities Office. 

CMS Guitar Club

Do you want to learn to play the guitar or ukulele? Then join CMS Guitar Club! See Mr. Anderson for more info. We will meet after school starting December 3rd. Sign up in the band area, or in Student Activities. $20 registration fee. Let's Rock!

After School field trip opportunity 

Wicked Plants Exhibit art the University of Minnesota's Bell Museum: Ms. Skramstad and Ms. Scherer are offering an after-school field trip on Thursday, December 12th from 2:20-6:00 pm. Please inquire with Ms. Skramstad or Ms. Scherer. 

Winter Play 

Winter Play sign-ups are starting next week! Stop by Student Activities to join our next production. Auditions will be held after school December 2, 3 and 5 in the Multi-purpose room. Auditions will end by 4:00 pm and the activity bus will be available.

Art Club for second quarter will start Thursday, November 14th in room 601 with Mrs. McKinley. We will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays through December 12th. Sign up in Student Activities. 

CMS Travel Symphonic Band Trip to Chicago

Hello Parents and Students,

 The Chicago Band trip will take place over the weekend of March 6-8, 2020 and cost around $450-475 depending on enrollment.  We will depart from CMS on Friday afternoon and return on Sunday evening. Rehearsals for the group take place on Monday and Thursday mornings from 6:45am - 7:40am in the CMS band room. In addition to our trip, there will be a couple other concerts for the group when we return to Eden Prairie. If you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you at the meeting!

Eden Prairie News Essay Contest

The Eden Prairie News is thrilled to begin its second annual holiday memories essay contest. Eden Prairie residents of all ages are encouraged to put pen to paper and share a holiday memory. Contest winners and honorable mentions will have their stories featured in the Dec. 26 issue of Eden Prairie News.

The deadline is 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 17. Essays should be 350 words or fewer. Send your stories by email to Eden Teller at eteller@swpub.com or drop them off at the Eden Prairie News office, 1001 Twelve Oaks Center Drive, Suite 1017, in Wayzata.

Entrants must include their name, address (school address for students) and phone number for verification purposes. Students who submit essays are encouraged to share their grade.
