Coming this year: TalkingPoints, a multilingual community engagement tool

We’re excited to share a new opportunity to connect with your student’s school, teachers, and other supporters this year! TalkingPoints, a multilingual texting tool that will allow our district, schools, and individual staff members to connect with each of our families in their preferred languages, will start to be used at each of our schools over the next several months. This tool was chosen as the result of a community engagement process connected to our previous strategic plan. 

When an Eden Prairie Schools staff member sends a message to their class or small group using TalkingPoints, each family receives that message as a text or app notification in their preferred language, responds in that language, and the staff member receives the reply in English. Watch for more information from your principal over the next few months about how TalkingPoints will be used at your school!
