The Eden Prairie School Board set May 14, 2019 as the date for the district’s referendum election. Eden Prairie voters will decide on improvements to school learning environments and on enhancements to school security.
On Jan. 7, the Eden Prairie School Board unanimously approved the appointment of Karla Bratrud to the board.
Eden Prairie Schools has named Brett Johnson, APR, as the Senior Director of Communications & Community Relations. The selection follows an extensive search and interview process. Johnson was hired after former director Jaclyn Swords departed in December to pursue another career opportunity.

Eden Prairie School Board Incumbent Lauren Crandall was elected to a one-year term on the Eden Prairie School Board. Crandall garnered 11,319 votes, taking 49.57 percent of the vote.
After nearly 10 years of declining enrollment, Eden Prairie Schools has officially increased its student enrollment. Eden Prairie Schools has 8,797 students following the official October 1 enrollment count reported to the Minnesota Department of Education.
