Knowledge Bowl

Description: Knowledge Bowl is a team-based Jeopardy-styled game of questions and answers on all topics of knowledge including literature, history, science and math; social sciences; fine arts; geography; religion, mythology, and philosophy; and general knowledge. The EPHS Knowledge Bowl team has won a number of titles at both regional and state level. Knowledge Bowl is played at tournaments between competing schools. The tournaments take place after school. Knowledge Bowl is a fun, fast-paced academic competiton, and all students in grades 9-12 are welcome to participate. (And you get to use buzzers.)
Requirements/Expectations: Be responsible for attending tournaments and practice sessions; maintain academic excellence in classroom studies
Season: January-March
Times/Dates: Practice sessions are Mondays and Wednesdays 2:50-4:30pm
Registration/Tryouts: Tryouts during practice sessions
Awards/Recognition: Medals/trophies from individual tournaments
