Dance Team- Performance and Competition
Grade Level: Grades 9-12
Location: EPHS studio and various school gyms
Fees:
Fall Performance season- $80
Winter Competition season- $150
Description: Routines performed in jazz, funk and high kick styles at various varsity games, Lake Conference and State Competitions and Dance Team Invitationals
Requirements/Expectations: Fall performance and winter competition seasons; follow MSHSL rules; attend all practices; performances and competitions; competitive individual auditions for all dances
Season:
Fall Performance- August through October
Winter Competition- October through February
Times/Dates: After school, evening and weekend practices, performances and competition
Registration/Tryouts: Auditions in the spring; private auditions in fall for students new to district
Awards/Recognition: Various team awards at the conclusion of both seasons
